IT Park, Mango Avenue, and Crossroads will be jam packed during these nights as party goers and beer lovers scramble their way to get tables and seats on the otherwise limited venue space. Don't be surprise that during 9 pm on a Friday, restobars in IT Park will be full especially the likes of the popular ones such as Moon Cafe, Pier 1 and Jacobos.
IT Park

The best area to experience the night life in Cebu. Since, this area is where most Call center agents are most people if not ALL people here speaks pretty decent English. Everyday there are people drinking, and partying, but not the same during weekends when the area is quite full, and very hard to get tables for you to hang out and chill. Bars to take note here would be Moon Cafe, Pier 1 and Jacobos. Clubs in the area would be Loft and Penthouse, which are in the same building near the JP Morgan and Chase call center building.
Mango Avenue
Mango Square is an area with a lot of bars and pubs, and a few strip joints on the further part of the avenue. During weekends, this place is jam packed, and a lot of foreigners love to come to this area-probably because picking up girls here is quite easier than would be picking one up in IT Park. This is probably because Mango square usually attracts the middle to lower economic class markets while IT Park attracts the middle to upper ones. Drinks would cost you far less than what you would spend on IT Park, but then again everything is affordable when you are a foreigner living in Cebu.
Most foreigners would automatically recommend to other foreigners to go to Mango Square because of the "nightlife" in that area. However, they sometimes fail to note that this is where most "swindling" takes place. Don't get me wrong, Cebuano's are the best of people to live with, but there are really just those people that need the money and find swindling foreigners the best way to do it. Swindling takes place in taxis, and bars, where normally taxi driver charge "flat rates" (that is double of what you would have paid), and in bars where girls sweet talk you to buying them more drink making you think that they like you.
How to differentiate which girls are hired from the bars and which are the "Real" ones? girls from bars are usually aggressive and they want you to buy them drinks. From that moment on, don't bother already or they'll run you dry( well of course if you want to pay for your sex than go for it.). to be continued...
Crossroads

3 min drive from I.T Park, 10 mins away from Mango Avenue. Crossroads is a good alternative when you want to experience some nightlife in Cebu. Aside from the most popular club in Cebu which is VuDU, it also houses Maya, a mexican inspired resto-bar, and Family KTV. Vudu caters more to the younger crowd though so if you are of "age" than i suggest going to Loft instead. However, Maya ain't half so bad,though you might cough up a little bit when you see the price.
