Where are the Motels in Cebu?
A Motel as described by Wikipedia is a type of hotel designed for a motorists convenience with a parking area just right beside the room the customer is staying. In the Philippines however, motels are connoted to be places where lewd acts are done- in other words where sex is the sole purpose for the stay. Since customers don't usually stay long in these type of hotel, charges are made usually on a per hour basis where 4 hours is usually the minimum and additional charges are made after-hence the term "short time". Motels in Cebu can be found all over, but are normally hidden from public eye. Some motels even have "fantasy roooms" where the rooms are designed to be themed like Egyptian room, Love room, and Sci Fi room- though quite rare in Cebu.
